Reference Check

What is a reference check?

Reference checks are often used to verify employment, education, and achievement records already provided by the applicant on a resume, application, or in an interview.  Unless you are a current or retired LAUSD employee in regular status in the Classified Service or permanent status in the Certificated Service, your references will be contacted after the eligibility list is produced to confirm your background.

A candidate should make sure that all information presented in the application, resume, or in an interview is true to the best of their knowledge.
