LAUSD's  Food Services Division (FSD) is responsible for the operation of the largest School Breakfast Program (SBP) and second largest National School Lunch Program (NSLP) in the United States. This amounts to approximately 726,000 student meals served daily at 694 school cafeterias and 88 child care food programs. In addition, the Newman Nutrition Center prepares over 140,000 meals every day and distributes them to 167 schools where on-site preparation is not feasible.

The FSD is currently seeking a Food Production Manager to join our team!

The Food Production Manager will plan, coordinate, and supervise the operation of food processing facilities involved in preparing and assembling large volumes of pre-plated meals and individual food items in large quantities. This is a management position which will manage and coordinate the food production processes within the Newman Nutrition Center.
