As key member of the LAUSD team, your role as a supervisor/manager is an important one. In your role, you will set goals for your team, motivate your staff to reach these goals, and ultimately deliver the results you set out to achieve. One of the most essential parts of your job is to ensure that the team you manage is fully prepared to reach the goals you have set for them. This entails hiring the most qualified employees to join your team, training your employees to ensure they possess the critical skills sets necessary to perform their job, motivating your employees so they will do their best, and guiding and managing your employees’ performance to ensure excellence on the job.
