Employee Performance Management

Performance management is a systematic process by which an organization involves its employees in achieving its mission and goals.  Research shows that there is a clear correlation between using an effective performance management program and improved organizational results.  This is because such a program:

  • improves employee engagement as everyone understands how they are directly contributing to the organization's high level goals.
  • creates transparency in achievement of goals.

At LAUSD our Performance Management program focuses on a continuum model where the spotlight is on the establishment of goals and expectations.
